An Autumn Wedding to remember
Latest News, Weddings and Parties | May 3rd, 2016
Matthew and Deborah got married with us here in October 2015, and wow what a day! The trees at Lissanoure had taken on the golden tones that only Autumn brings and provided the perfect backdrop for their rustic wedding.
On arrival at the castle guests were treated to hot cider and apple juice. Deborah and Matt had thoughtfully left a basket of blankets by the doors for any guests who wished to have a wonder around the grounds.
Food on the day was a feast for the eyes, quite literally – with a Hog Roast greeting guests on the way into the barn for dinner. Catering was provided by the Fatted Calf.
Following dinner guests danced the night away to Limavady Big Band, their first appearance at Lissanoure Castle. The band’s performance was all the more special as Deborah’s dad Peter is a member.
We can’t not mention the flowers, Jayne Morris did a wonderful job – the style of which was incorporated into the brides hair on the day.
The photographer Amy Millar from Retrosite photography captured some wonderful stills of the day and worked alongside Forever Social who captured the day on video.
Matthew and Deborah have kindly sent us some photo’s of their day with us to share with you all.
From all at Lissanoure Castle, we wish you both many happy years to come.
