This stunning and unforgettable venue is available for bespoke and package weddings throughout the year, giving you the flexibility to create your own unique day. Whether you are planning a spectacular wedding or a more intimate affair, we will make sure that you and your guests will have a day that you will remember. We never hold two events on the same day, it is exclusively yours for the day. We will personally be on hand throughout the planning process and on the big day itself.
As Lissanoure Castle is part of a family estate, viewings are by appointment only. Our wedding coordinator will be delighted to show you around and explain everything that we have to offer.
THE COACH HOUSE
The 18th century Coach House has three large reception rooms, all with open log fires. There is a magnificent hallway with a gallery above. On one side of the hallway is the Macartney Room, which is fully furnished with comfortable seating and a fully licensed and well stocked bar.
On the other side of the hallway is the dining room which has the capacity to seat up to 100 guests comfortably for a sit down dinner and larger numbers for a stand up reception. There is a dance floor at the far end of the dining room.
For larger weddings, the Coach House is usually used for the afternoon reception and then everyone moves over to the Castle Barn for the main sit down dinner and dancing.
All the rooms open out onto a private court-yard, reserved exclusively for you and your guests.
THE CASTLE BARN
The Barn is a spectacular building inside and is perfect for larger weddings of over 100 guests. For larger weddings and parties, couples usually start off the event with the afternoon reception in the Coach House and then move over to the Barn for the sit down dinner and dance.
It has a well furnished seating area around an open fire, a dance floor, a stage for the band/DJ and a fully licensed, staffed and well stocked bar. It is conveniently located next to the Coach House and car park.
There are fully fitted kitchens in both the Coach House and the Barn for the caterers to use.

CEREMONIES AT LISSANOURE CASTLE
We have two beautiful locations at Lissanoure Castle to hold ceremonies.
Inside the Castle Coach House with its welcoming open log fire in the hallway, the ceremony can take place in the main reception room off the hallway.
If you would prefer an outdoor wedding ceremony, there is a wonderful covered area in the garden between the castle walls
ALL SAINTS CHURCH, LOUGHGUILE
At the main entrance to Lissanoure Castle Estate is the attractive Church of Ireland, All Saints Church, Loughguile where many of our couples get married. It is a most lovely walk (weather permitting) from the church up the drive to the Castle.
The church welcomes couples who would like to get married there.

The couple may stay the night in this room at an additional cost.
