BBC Antique Road Trip stop by Lissanoure Castle in Northern Ireland

We were delighted when the BBC Antique Road Trip came to Lissanoure Castle to do a feature on the history of Irish dancing which was shown on BBC this week. If you missed it – do watch it, Series 19, episode 16 on BBC i-player.

Roo Irvine from the Antique Road Trip met Angeline King who is a local historian on Irish dance and she explained to Roo the tradition and history behind it all. We were also very lucky to have the Loughgiel School of Irish Dance come and perform for the BBC and show Roo some traditional steps.
